Fibre soft sculpture

My practice is grounded in observing the intimate hand gestures embedded in everyday hair-care rituals. By collecting the gestures of how hands interact with the filament, how strands interlace, and how these gestures store our body’s knowledge. Rooted in material exploration and personal memory, the foundation of my work lies in handcraft techniques such as braiding and knotting as performative gestures of storytelling. Through fibre installations and tactile forms, my pieces create sculptural languages that are both intimate and expansive, inviting to perceive hair through textile fibres as a group of filaments deeply embedded within the human experience.
