Glass and dichroic on a bespoke raku fired ceramic base

Using glass I experiment with colour and technique to produce innovative one off sculptures that push the medium beyond our usual comfort zones. My colour palette and choice of forms are very much informed by the various natural states in which water is found. For this piece I took hundreds of fine glass rods in many colours, bringing them together so that the final form mimics the movement on the surface of the sea.
