My sculpture practice explores museum display methodologies and draws on this cultural history to address contemporary perspectives in works that might include cabinet collections, dioramic displays or taxidermy. The familiar museum cabinet format developed from the 16th century Wunderkammer, and my novel aesthetic assemblies draw both on post enlightenment museum display traditions and the more fantastical and eccentric curiosity cabinets of the past. I live in Somerset working from a series of crowded studio sheds and am also a keen environmentalist, diver and beekeeper. I am currently working in Cornwall at Falmouth University as course lead for the Integrated Foundation Year and BA(Hons) Drawing. Selected Exhibitions: 'Stratigraphy'' As Old as the Hills' - Glastonbury (2024), 'Spring Summer Collection 2020' -170th RWA Sculpture Open (2024), Solo show 'Shock of the Old' - Wells and Mendip Museum (2023), ‘Chronology’ The New Muses, London (2017), Solo show ‘Reliquary' Bo-Lee Gallery, Bath (2012).
