Mary Griffiths’ abstract and geometrically inflected works of art are shot through with personal history, lived experience, politics and beliefs. In recent years their subject matter has often come about through collaborations with musicians, scientists and writers. Drawing and etching are at the centre of her practice, with recent exhibitions at Ruthin Crafts Centre (2025) and the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery, Leeds (2024). Her work is in the Arts Council Collection; Chippenham Museum; Manchester Art Gallery; The Turnpike, Leigh: Leeds University; The Whitworth, Manchester.
