Nikki is a conceptual artist whose practice encompasses sculpture, installation, film, print, thread and poetry, exploring female stories of resilience and the precariousness of being human.
She uses the ritualistic process of making to bring often marginalised and emotive subjects and experiences, out of the shadows, embracing the unpredictability of working with materials that, like life, can be difficult to control.
She works from her studio on the south coast of England with frequent walks to the woods or the beach to clear her head & develop ideas.
