"My practice is grounded in a sustained engagement with the natural world, exploring the entanglements between landscape, memory, and emotion. I focus on transformed geographies, particularly the drained Cambridgeshire fens - shaped by centuries of human intervention and ecological rupture. Through painting and drawing, these landscapes function as emotional cartographies, holding experiences of loss, control, joy, and grief.
Working materially and intuitively, my process begins in the field and continues in the studio through layering, erasure, and reconstruction. Informed by ecological theory, feminist philosophy, and object-oriented ontology, my work seeks speculative, non-anthropocentric ways of imagining reciprocity and care."
